So far, police have arrested 92 people in connection with the violence and stone-throwing that took place after Friday prayers in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.

70 people have been summoned to the police FIR and cases have been reported against them in 29 serious cases.

On Sunday, in the presence of police, the Prayagraj Development Authority (PDA) completely razed the house of the ‘main accused’ of the incident, Javed Mohammad.

Earlier, a notice was posted in his house explaining the reasons for the excavators. According to this notice, on May 10 he was issued a notice of cause in the case of unauthorized works of the house, in which the hearing was set for May 24.
