Sonipat. In the civic elections, BJP candidates have fed Kamala by registering victories in the elections for the post of chairman of the Gohana Municipal Council, Ganaur and Kundli municipality. Ganaur BJP candidate Arun Tyagi won by a margin of 6110 votes. Rajni Veermani won from the Gohana Municipal Council by a margin of 3040 votes and from Kundli Nagar Palika, Shimla Devi by a margin of 77 votes. Electoral officials handed out certificates announcing the names of the winning councilors along with the office of president. With the victory of the BJP candidates, the fans began to celebrate the victory by playing drums, drums and blowing colors.
Body elections were held on June 19 at three locations in Sonipat, Gohana Municipal Council, Ganaur and Kundli Municipality. On Wednesday, the counting of votes had started from eight in the morning at the counting centers set up at Barota Government College, Ganaur, CCAS Jain Girls College and Kundli HSIIDC office in Gohana. The vote count was first completed in Kundli township. The streak of BJP victories that started from Kundli also continued in Ganaur and Gohana. In the ongoing vote count for the presidency in Kundli municipality, until the end, there was a close fight between BJP candidate Shimla Devi and Aam Aadmi party candidate Anjali. In the end, BJP candidate Shimla Devi defeated her rival Anjali by 77 votes.

Arun Tyagi, who was the BJP’s presidential candidate in Ganaur municipality, recorded the biggest victory. Arun Tyagi won with 10348 votes and Congress defeated Satprakash Sharma by 6110 votes. Satprakash Sharma got 4328 votes. BJP supporters began to celebrate this with the BJP’s unilateral victory in Ganaur. Arun Tyagi thanked everyone, describing this victory as the victory of the people.
