Ms. 699 employees hired under NHM in the Department of Health will go on a two-day strike from 9am this Thursday to protest the recommendation to abolish the service’s statutes. This will involve employees from other departments, including ambulance drivers, emergency personnel, maternity staff, children’s department, vaccinations, nurses, doctors, pharmacists, ANM, laboratory technicians, ASHA and DPM coordinators. The Department of Health has also written a letter to give it to road drivers.
A group of NHM workers has been on strike since Monday, but health services were not affected by the faction’s strike. The reason for this was that there are not many NHM employees included in this group. Some 699 Sirsa employees are associated with NHM Employees Union Haryana, which began the strike on Thursday. Therefore, the strike from Thursday will have a big impact on the district’s health services. The president of the association, Kundan Gavadia, said his two-day strike will begin on Thursday at 9am. All NHM employees will protest at the Civil Hospital and a memorandum will be delivered to the CMO.
