Police have recovered the gun used in the murder.
Circle official Abhay Kumar Mishra said both Atul and Shivam lived together in the village of Kanawani. They were both good friends from grade six. After finishing their studies, they both started working finance together in collaboration. Both had also opened a mobile shop to keep in touch with people who were charging money for interest, but two years ago, Shivam suddenly ended his association. After that, Atul began his own separate financial work elsewhere, but was unsuccessful. During interrogation, Atul said Shivam used to abuse him many times. He could not protest his economic weakness. Due to financial loss and constant indecency, Atul devised a plan to kill him.
He called Shivam from home on the pretext of drinking alcohol

From there he called Shivam and Hindon Barrage. After a while, Shivam arrived with his WagonR car, they both went to a Shaktikhand mall to buy liquor. There Shivam refused to drink alcohol. After that, they both bought beer and sat in the car and talked for a long time. Police say Shivam always carried a gun with him. Atul also knew about him. While drinking beer, Atul pulled a pistol from the dashboard of the car and fired twice at Shivam. One bullet hit the vehicle while the other bullet went through his chest and out through his shoulder and sank into the driver’s seat. After the murder, Atul fled from there.

Following the assassination of financier Shivam, his mobile phone was confiscated by jurisdictional officer Abhay Kumar Mishra. Trace the location of about 600 mobiles around the site. Apart from that, the team investigated by taking possession of the CCTV camera footage installed around the Kanawani Hindon Canal Service Road site. In one of the pictures, they caught him running. The team began the search with their photograph and arrested him from near Sector 2B in Vasundhara late Tuesday night.

After killing Shivam, the accused Atul threw the gun into the Hindon canal. When police asked him about the weapon during interrogation, he continued to trick him for a long time. After rigor, he said, Indirapuram police recovered the gun from the canal after several hours of effort on Tuesday.
