Bhiwani. The convenience of one department is becoming a dilemma for another government department. Lack of coordination between employees and officials of both departments has become a major obstacle in development plans. The B&R department of Dinod Road is building the smallest 600-meter-long railway bridge in the city at a cost of 18 million rupees, but due to lack of coordination, the work is breaking down instead. to do it. This is because the drinking water booster line runs from this road. That has been shifted three times by public health, but due to not clarifying the methodology by another department, this line is becoming a hindrance at work.
The construction of the ROB at Dinod Road Jituwala Railway Gate No. C-52 began in 2021. Both the Krishna colony and the Jeetuwala through the railway gate are densely populated. That’s why this place is pretty narrow. Due to which many obstacles approach one after the other in the construction of the bridge. Here pillars have to be made to make a bridge. And before making the pillars, foundations must be laid for their strength. Sewer, electricity and water lines must be changed before these foundations can be built. Electricity, water and sewer lines moved to the end of the Krishna colony. But after the change of the sewer line in the area through the Jeetuwala railway gate, the displacement of the water line became a problem for the officials of the department concerned. The water line has shifted three times in the last six months. But during the construction of the pillar, this line was repeatedly damaged. That is why the population of the area has to face the crisis of drinking water, while the Department of Public Health has also suffered losses. People have also had to bear the brunt of the lack of coordination between B&R and the Department of Public Health. Now, before changing the line, the Department of Public Health has given an ultimatum to the bridge construction agency because they should first finish the construction of the pillar, only then will the reinforcement line be moved. Apart from this, there are also some invasions in the way of the bridge construction works, which have not yet been removed.
Closed road, surrounding three kilometers
There is a population of about 50,000 people in about a dozen and a half colonies on Dinod Road Linepar. The access road is cut off for almost three months. The road to the gate of the Krishna settlement is closed. Therefore, Linepar Colony residents must reach the city by the Tosham ring road. That’s why they have to cover more distance of about three kilometers.
The road became a deep gorge, now there are accidents every day
Construction work on the bridge at Dinod Road takes about a year and a half. For six months a trench has been dug from place to place along the way. That is why the road is closed. Many times people pass by in a hurry, then get injured when they fall into the ditch. It has often been suggested by the administration that the construction of the bridge should be completed as soon as possible.
– Ravi Kumar, resident of the area.
The work of raising the pillars in the construction of the bridge has not even been completed. People have been facing problems here for a year and a half. If there is a moat in front of the houses, the road to follow is also closed. Children can’t play away from home either. Our demand is that the construction of the bridge be speeded up, so that people can get rid of this problem.
Pankaj, resident of the region.
Construction work on the bridge is progressing very slowly. We hoped that if the bridge were built here soon, people in the area would benefit, but with the speed with which the agency works, it seems that in a year and a half more problems will be needed. be confronted. We also have to walk around the Tosham ring road to get to the city.
-Vishnu, a resident of the region.
Due to the construction of the bridge, the line was moved three to four times, but each time during the construction of the pillar, the construction company’s employees broke the line. That is why the department has also suffered a lot. Now first the bridge construction agency will complete its pillar construction work, then the drinking water line will be moved so that there is no damage and people will not have to face any inconvenience.
Pramod Kumar, Executive Engineer, Urban Drinking Water Subdivision, Department of Public Health, Bhiwani.
About 40 percent of the railway bridge construction work on Dinod Road has been completed. Pillars of the bridge are being built. Once the construction of the pillar has been completed, the upper structure of the bridge will be prepared. They also work in constant coordination with the departments involved.
Rahul Chahal, Executive Engineer, B&R Department, Bhiwani.
