The agency has installed 10 dump trucks and 7 tractors for garbage collection. Door-to-door garbage collection work will begin on Wednesday. Due to the closure of the old agency, the piles of rubbish had damaged the appearance of the city. The city was full of dirt when the elevation work stopped. Garbage piled up near temples and educational institutions in the city. About 400 tons of garbage were collected at landfills. Drivers passing through the roads had problems. There is now a relief with the start of garbage collection.
The Municipal Corporation has partnered with the JBM company for garbage collection. The company has also installed a waste disposal plant in Murthal. In 2018 the contract was handed over to the Pooja Consolation Agency to pick up JBM city garbage to the plant, but suddenly the company got into a dispute with the agency. That’s why the agency started laxity in garbage collection from July 1st. Because of this, garbage began to accumulate in the city. The agency stopped picking up trash on Monday. In this situation, JBM has now ceded the contract to the new agency Ayushi Hygen & Care Pvt Ltd. The agency has begun garbage collection work at the landfill at 10 a.m. this Tuesday. For this, 10 dump trucks and 7 tractors have been installed. Agency officials say door-to-door collection will begin on Wednesday. To do this, 80 vehicles will be installed in the Sonipat Corporation area and 20 in the Ganaur Napa area.
