Badaun. On the occasion of Guru Purnima, many programs were organized throughout the district. Somewhere the gurus were respected and somewhere there was a Bhandara. Gayatri Mahayagya took place at the Gayatri Shaktipeeth and Spiritual Consciousness Center. The initiation ceremony was also organized.
Vedacharya Bhavesh Kumar Sharma said that the Guru is not a person but a force. Sanskars show the way along with giving virtue. Life is auspicious. Sachin Dev and Pankaj Kumar, the parivrajak of Gayatri Shaktipeeth, performed the Gayatri Mahayagya of five kundy reciting the Vedas. Sanjeev Kumar Sharma of Gayatri Parivar said that 101 soul mates took Guru Diksha to Shaktipeeth. Patrons Surendra Nath Sharma, Narendra Pal Sharma, Nathulal Sharma, Sukhpal Sharma, Ramchandra Prajapati, Virendra Rastogi, etc. were present.
