After these works were completed on March 31, 2022, their bills were to be approved, but department officials were only able to deposit up to Rs 9.50 crore. In this case, the remaining 12.16 million rupees has expired. Although works worth 11.52 million rupees were also done with this expired amount, but their bills were not approved in time.
Now this amount will have to be paid by the administration with the newly published 23.75 million rupees for the financial year 2022-23. In this situation, even after getting 2.08 million rupees more from the government than last time this year, the development work will be done with only 12.22 million rupees. According to last year’s report, out of a total of 486 works, the negligence of the Municipal Corporation and the Panchayati Raj Department has been the highest.
