When the news of the newborn’s death reached the ears of the mother who had nursed the fetus for nine months, she became unconscious. The father also insisted on sending the newborn’s body for autopsy, demanding action. She clearly said that she will raise her voice against mismanagement so that what has happened now will never happen to any mother again.
Naureen, resident of Mohalla Maniharan of Thana Thakurdwara, where wife Mirza Ghalib lived in Mohalla Shekhan of her maternal home, Sayohara. Naureen’s delivery time continued full time, so Naureen was in contact with Dr. Sayohara CHC for three days. On Tuesday, Naureen was admitted to the CHC due to labor pain. where his dead son was born. Naureen Jahan’s husband Mirza Ghalib accused doctor Rehmat Jahan and the two nurses present of being negligent during the delivery after getting information about the stillbirth.
Mirza Ghalib alleges that before the delivery he told the doctor several times that if there were any problems, he could take her outside to a private doctor. But the doctor kept saying that everything was fine. Relatives of the pregnant woman created a ruckus to take action against the doctor. On receiving the information, SHO Rajeev Choudhary reached the CHC along with the police and spoke to the family members and Dr. Rahmat Jahan. The dead boy’s father remained adamant about the demand for action against the paramedics. The police registered a case on the complaint of the deceased child’s father, filled the panchnama of the dead body and sent it for post-mortem.
More than 100 deliveries every month
More than 100 deliveries are made to CHCs every month. All these deliveries are carried out by female doctors from BUMS, nurses and ANMs placed in the CHCs. Non-deployment of MBBS doctor in CHC is a big problem.
They assure that in the preliminary investigation it was possible to verify that the maternity hospital entered at 11:30 and the birth took place at 1:55.
