badaun Shri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with pomp in the schools of the district. Young children arrived at school in attractive clothes. The girls were dressed in the form of Radha, while some appeared in the costume of little Kanhaiya. The children presented other programs such as dancing to the rhythm of the flute.
At Zeelot Public School, Principal Jyoti Lata informed all the students about Shri Krishna’s childhood pastimes. Radha Krishna decoration, Matki explosion competition was organized at Capital Public School. At MD Convent School, students arrived dressed as Shri Krishna and Radha. At Shri Guru Nanak High School Principal Neelam Agrawal explained the teachings of Shri Krishna. Janmashtami celebrations were held at Mother Teresa English School. At Shiv Devi Saraswati Shishu Mandir, students and teachers enthralled everyone by presenting the hymns and pastimes of Shri Krishna’s life. Nareshpal Singh, Rakesh Mishra, Jaiprakash Dwivedi etc were present. Shri Radha Krishna Roop Decoration Competition was held at Shri Ram Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College, in which young children dressed up as Krishna and Radha.
Kalika Prasad Gangwar, Ruchi Maheshwari, Taran Vaish, Jyoti Gupta etc were present. Here at Bloomingdale’s Dataganj, the programs were conducted under the supervision of professors Shubhi Saxena and Khushboo Verma.

Ujhani. Children from class 9 to 12 participated in the Matki Burst competition at APS International School. Municipal President Poonam Agarwal, Manager Nilanshu Agarwal, Nandita Agarwal and Principal Ravindra Bhatt encouraged the children. Children staged Krishna Leela at Essel Odeon Public School. Anika Gupta bagged first position in Radha Krishna dance. Anshika, Gargi and Ayushi Gupta led the group dance. Manager Sudhanshu Gupta and Principal Vimal Singh gave away prizes to the children. At Kids Planet School, the children were surprised to become Radhakrishna. Principal Vandana Babbar explained to the children the significance of the festival. The festival was also celebrated with great pomp at Rajat Vidya Mandir in Basoma.

Aanchal Varshney, Parul Aggarwal, Ritu Sahni, Sarita Varshney, Rakhi Varshney etc were present.
