New Delhi: After 10,649 new cases of corona virus infection were reported in India in the last 24 hours, the total number of infection cases rose to 4,43,68,195, while the number of cases under treatment is 96,442.

According to updated data released by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am on Wednesday, the death toll rose to 5,27,452 after 36 more people died due to infection in the country.

Four people are also included in these 36 cases, whose names have been included in the list of those who lost their lives due to the infection in Kerala, bringing the number of deaths due to the infection to equal again.

According to the data of Johns Hopkins University of America, the total cases of corona virus infection worldwide have increased to 59,76,76,271 and due to this infection 64,57,976 people have died so far in all the world.

The number of patients under treatment for Kovid-19 in the country has come down to 96,442, which is 0.22 percent of the total cases. In the last 24 hours, a decrease of 64 cases has been recorded in the number of patients under treatment. The national patient recovery rate is 98.59 percent.

According to the latest data, the daily infection rate is 2.62 percent, while the weekly infection rate is 3.32 percent. A total of 4,37,44,301 people have remained free of infection in the country so far and the death rate due to Kovid-19 is 1.19 percent.

At the same time, 210.58 million doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccines have been administered so far as part of the national vaccination campaign.

According to the ministry data, 36 new cases of death due to infection have been registered in the country in the last 24 hours, of which nine in Delhi, seven in Maharashtra, three in Punjab, two each in Haryana, Karnataka and Rajasthan. and Uttar Pradesh and Chandigarh One case each was reported from Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha and West Bengal.

After these 107 days i.e. on April 5, 2021, the cases crossed 1.25 million, but it took only 15 days (April 19, 2021) for the infection cases to exceed the 1.5 million and only 15 days later, on May 4, 2021, the critical situation. The number went beyond 1.5 million to two million as it entered.

After May 4, 2021, within about 50 days, on June 23, 2021, the infection cases had exceeded 30 million. After that, about nine months later, on January 26, 2022, the total number of cases had exceeded 40 million.

In the month of April, a maximum of 3,688 new cases of corona virus infection were recorded in one day or 24 hours on April 30, and during this time a maximum of 1,399 were recorded (after the review of the figures in Assam and Kerala) on 26 April.

In the month of March, the maximum number of 7,554 new cases of Kovid-19 infection in a day or 24 hours came on March 2 and during this time the highest number of deaths of 4,100 (with revision to the figures of Maharashtra and Kerala) were recorded on 26 March.

In the month of February, the maximum number of 1,72,433 cases of Kovid-19 infection in a day or 24 hours was recorded on February 3 and the maximum number of 1,733 people died in this period on February 2.

Talking about the month of January this year, during the last day or 24 hours, the maximum number of 3,89,03,731 cases of Kovid-19 infection were recorded on January 22 and the maximum 959 deaths occurred on January 30 during this period. .

May 2021 has been the deadliest month

During the second wave of Kovid-19 in May 2021 alone, more than 92,87,158 cases of coronavirus were reported in India, which is the highest number of infections recorded in a month.

Apart from this, in May 2021, 1,20,833 people also lost their lives due to this disease. So many cases and this number of deaths have not been recorded in any other month. In this way, this month has been the worst and deadliest during this epidemic.

On May 7, 2021, the highest number of 4,14,188 Kovid-19 cases were recorded in 24 hours and on May 19, 2021, the highest number of 4,529 patients lost their lives.

Daily new cases were below three lakh from 17 to 24 May 2021 and then below two lakh from 25 to 31 May 2021. The maximum number of 3,745,237 patients were treated in the country on 10 of May 2021.
