Why is AAP demanding resignation of Lt Governor?
This is not the voice of boys singing patriotic songs at a school or college festival. This is the voice… of Aam Aadmi Party MPs in Delhi, who sat on dharna in the assembly last night. Before explaining the reason, let’s go to the background of the story. On August 19, there was a CBI raid at Manish Sisodia’s house, after which swords have been drawn between the Aam Aadmi Party and the BJP. Not a day has gone by when there has not been a war of words between the top leaders of AAP and BJP. Kejriwal is an attacker against the government over alleged corruption in the BJP’s liquor policy. At the same time, the Aam Aadmi Party alleges that the BJP is trying to split its MLAs. Arvind Kejriwal moved the trust vote in the Delhi Assembly yesterday and targeted the entire BJP, including the Modi government, but after cornering the BJP through the trust vote, the AAP also opened a front against Delhi LG Vinay Kumar Saxena. AAP leaders leveled serious allegations of corruption against him and demonstrated throughout the day carrying banners and placards inside and outside the assembly. Not only this, they sat on a dharna in the assembly campus throughout the night demanding that the lieutenant governor be investigated and removed from office. So what is this issue on which AAP is harassing LG VK Saxena and how did his protest continue overnight?
Why is the Dussehra rally important for Uddhav Thackeray?
After the loss of Uddhav Thackeray’s seat in Maharashtra, there has been a split in Shiv Sena. One section is of Eknath Shinde and the other is with Uddhav. Uddhav, who was ousted from power, is trying to save his property and is trying his best to retain control of the party. The ongoing dispute regarding the ‘real Shiv Sena’ is in court. But there are also many efforts in the field of politics. The result of this struggle is that during the last session of the assembly there was a fight between the two factions. Now Uddhav has made a bet. He has sought permission to organize a rally at Mumbai’s Shivaji Park on Dussehra. But leaders from the Uddhav camp allege that the BMC is not giving them the nod. Meanwhile, Uddhav Thackeray yesterday announced that the Dussehra rally will be held only at Shivaji Park. In this situation, it is interesting to know that, after all, how important is this rally for Uddhav Thackeray?
Why did Mamata Banerjee support the leaders caught in the clutches of ED-CBI?
After Partha Chatterjee’s arrest in the Bengal SSC scam, questions were raised about Mamata Banerjee’s silence. Then he just said that he does not support corruption. But yesterday, for the first time, he was seen openly defending all these TMC leaders, including Partha Chatterjee, who are under the custody of investigative agencies like CBI and ED. In a program organized during Trinamool Congress Students Unit Foundation Day, Bengal CM said that the issue of Partha Chatterjee’s arrest is under consideration and nothing has been proved so far, there is only one trial for the media. Targeting the BJP, he said the media, judiciary and political parties are being intimidated. A conspiracy is being hatched to topple elected state governments through the use of black money and central investigative agencies. Mamta’s allegations in place but, thus publicly defending her accused leaders, how do you see it?
Why have suicides increased in the country?
Suicide is a difficult reality of today’s fast-paced life. Tired of themselves, the family and society… Many people suffering from stress and depression are moving towards suicide. Yesterday, when the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) data came out, many people were shocked that last year, 2021, an average of 450 people took their own lives in India every day. In total, 1 lakh 64 thousand 33 people committed suicide last year, 7% more than 2020. NCRB says that family problems and diseases especially like AIDS, cancer are the most people who commit suicide because of them. And last year, 33% of suicides were due to family problems and 19% due to illness. But what does a psychologist think about these suicidal tendencies and how well do they agree with the NCRB data?
