10 trains canceled again in DPUMR, 4 completed in the middle, route instead of 7, doubling the work in Raipur Railway Division

Bilaspur. South East Central Railway Bilaspur has again canceled 10 trains from September 7 to 17. At the same time, four trains will stop in the middle and 7 trains will run on the converted route. Railways has informed about duplication of work at Lakholi-Raipur and other development works including modernization of yard at Mandir Hasaud railway station in order to affect the running of trains.

Railway officials said that duplication work is being carried out between Lakholi-Raipur RV Block Hut railway section of Raipur railway division. Simultaneously, the modernization of Mandir Hasaud railway station yard, commissioning at Naya Raipur station between Lakholi-Mandir Hasaud, electrification work between Raipur-Lakholi and other works of development Because of this, the operation of trains on this route will be affected.

On August 28, 58 trains were cancelled

Earlier, on the pretext of development work in the Rajnandgaon Kalmana railway section, the Railways had canceled 58 trains simultaneously for a week on August 28. It has been continuously canceling trains since the first week of August i.e. Raksha Bandhan festival, which is fiercely opposed in Chhattisgarh as well.

08528 Visakhapatnam – Raipur Visakhapatnam special departing from September 6 to 12 will terminate at Mahasamund station only. This train will remain canceled at Mahasamund and Raipur.
08527 Raipur – Visakhapatnam Raipur Special from 7th to 13th September will end at Mahasamund station only. This train will remain canceled at Raipur and Mahasamund.

State BJP President spoke to Railway Minister

Bharatiya Janata Party Chhattisgarh State President and Bilaspur Lok Sabha Member of Parliament Arun Saw had demanded delay in running of trains in Chhattisgarh, restoration of canceled trains and resumption of railway stops closed. He had a telephonic conversation with Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav regarding railway facilities in Chhattisgarh. Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnav was said to have taken MLA Arun Sao’s words seriously and assured to speak to the officials to resolve the issues at the earliest. But, even after the Railway Minister spoke to the state BJP president, the railway administration has again canceled the trains.
