Neither Kejriwal nor Rahul will listen to Nitish Kumar, so why this ‘random’?

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s campaign for opposition unity will be discussed. But, before that, a little story is remembered. Without which it will not be easy to understand Nitish Kumar’s campaign. So they know the story first.

In a forest, elections were held for the position of king. And, the animals voted for the monkey instead of the lion and made him king. Those who voted for the monkey claimed that a monkey that looked like a human would be as intelligent as a human being. All was going well until after a few days the lion picked up some of the deer’s children and kept them in his cave. It is written that the complaint of the lion had to reach the monkey who became the king. So the complaint reached the monkey. Hearing this, the monkey left for the lion’s den. Arriving at the front of the cave, the monkey began to jump from tree to tree, from second to third, from third to fourth tree. This process took a long time. After some time, the animals told the monkey that “Sir, the lion has taken away the deer’s children.” Do something.’ At this, the monkey said in an angry voice that “if we are missing something, say so.”

So, back to Nitish Kumar. JDU leader and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who came with RJD after breaking alliance with BJP in Bihar, has now started clamoring for 2024. From posters in Bihar to discussions on the next Nitish Kumar’s visit to Delhi is making a lot of headlines. Nitish Kumar is also said to meet former Congress president Rahul Gandhi and Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal on his visit to Delhi. Nitish Kumar is likely to try to give an edge to his campaign to bring together opposition parties from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.

However, this Nitish Kumar campaign seems a bit difficult. Rahul Gandhi is all set to be reinstated as Congress president. And, in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Rahul Gandhi will be the prime ministerial candidate from the Congress side. At the same time, the Aam Aadmi Party has already declared Arvind Kejriwal as the main challenger to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In this situation, the question will arise that neither Arvind Kejriwal nor Rahul Gandhi will listen to Nitish Kumar, so why this “random”?

Nitish Kumar’s entire career is just to fix the relegation condition of JDU in Bihar.

Nitish Kumar is PM material but only RJD supporting

Nitish Kumar has long been yearning to become the Prime Minister. In 2013, when Nitish Kumar left the BJP-led NDA alliance. The reason for this was that he saw himself as a prime ministerial candidate. A few months ago, JDU President Lalan Singh Yadav had also said that Nitish Kumar has all the qualities to become the Prime Minister. But, he is out of this race. However, it was when the coalition government of JDU with BJP was in Bihar. But now the situation has changed. And, during a program in the past, Bihar government minister Shravan Kumar had announced that Nalanda’s son would hoist the flag at Delhi’s Red Fort.

Incidentally, RJD leaders Tejashwi Yadav and Tej Pratap Yadav have also stamped Nitish Kumar’s candidature for the post of chief minister. Tejashwi Yadav had said that if Narendra Modi can become Prime Minister, then Nitish Kumar can also. At the same time, Tej Pratap Yadav had said that Nitish Kumar is our uncle. It will be taken to the point of hoisting the flag at the Red Fort. This is a government of great alliance, it will do a lot. However, the JDU is yet to make any official announcement about Nitish Kumar’s candidature for the post of Prime Minister.

But, the real problem is that there is no one but RJD in support of Nitish Kumar. And, for how long it will also support, is also hard to say. In fact, in Bihar, even though RJD has made Nitish Kumar the Chief Minister despite less seats. But, the distribution of 40 seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections will not be so easy. That too in a situation where Congress and Left parties are also involved in alliance with Nitish Kumar. In simple words, even if Nitish Kumar is PM material. But, only RJD will support him.

Nitish did not like KCR’s formula

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao aka KCR has also been trying to form a Third Front for a long time. For this reason, K Chandrashekhar Rao came to Patna on the call of Nitish Kumar in the past. But, at the press conference held after the meeting here, Nitish Kumar looked uncomfortable while answering K Chandrashekhar Rao’s opposition-related questions. And he got up and started to leave. However, KCR urged him to sit holding Nitish’s hand. And Nitish Kumar sat down. But when KCR started consistently answering questions related to opposition unity. So Nitish Kumar got up from his seat and started walking. And again, no, he didn’t even sit on KCR’s plea.

In fact, K Chandrashekhar Rao wants to form a Third Front consisting of non-Congress and non-BJP parties. But Nitish Kumar was not ready for this. And, JDU leader KC Tyagi said the goal of defeating the BJP may remain incomplete without the Congress and Left parties. However, the JDU leader has also said that he will try to convince KCR. So that the opposition front can be prepared with the Congress. Incidentally, this is the reason why Nitish Kumar is now on a trip to Delhi. And, from their level, the opposition is trying to create a new platform of unity.

All the ‘runaways’ just to save Bihar

It is believed that JDU leader Nitish Kumar will leave no chance to contest with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2024. And, the discussion in the political corridors has also gained momentum that Nitish Kumar is following the routine of deciding the candidate for the first minister after defeating the BJP in 2024. However, other JDU leaders already see Nitish in a “national” role. Incidentally, this entire exercise is being done to preserve the existence of JDU in Bihar. Because, JDU is continuously shrinking in Bihar. Talking about the 2020 assembly elections, the BJP-JDU had formed an alliance. In these elections, JDU contested in 115 seats and BJP contested in 110 seats. But despite contesting more seats, JDU was reduced to just 43 seats. Whereas, BJP had won 74 seats.

Actually, Nitish Kumar is making this race before 2024 to save JDU which is continuously drowning in Bihar. In fact, in the 2020 Bihar assembly elections, RJD had emerged as the single largest political party. Hence, Nitish Kumar has played a bet to strengthen JDU among OBC voters by switching sides and going with RJD. Who is the vote bank of RJD. Not only this, JDU will try to mobilize these Muslim voters in its favor by moving away from BJP. That he had split from JDU because of BJP. Simply put, Nitish Kumar may not be able to create opposition unity in 2024. But with RJD’s support, his exercise to increase JDU’s vote bank may pay off. However, we will have to wait a long time to see it. So till 2024, there will be no dearth in Nitish Kumar’s career. Even if there is no result.
