The health of the state improved due to Chief Minister Yogi’s health strategy

This slogan given by the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath shows his contemplation towards the healthcare system of the state. Recently, Yogi launched Gorakhpur’s first health ATM and has decided to establish 4600 health ATMs in the state. At the same time, preparations are being made to celebrate Ayushman Pakhwada in the state on the occasion of completing four years on September 23.
The health ATM will be available in the state’s 4,600 primary and community health centers in the next three months. After the installation of the health cashiers in the health centers, a person from the village will also be able to go to the center and take more than 59 tests in 5 minutes, that too for free, without rush. In the health ATM, along with general tests like weight, pulse rate, important tests like heart, blood sugar, urine, dengue, malaria, hepatitis, arthritis profile, pregnancy test, typhoid will also be done . 11.35 million patients treated in Arogya Mela
Chief Minister Adityanath had started the Arogya Mela in February 2020. Since its launch, more than 11 million 35 lakh 56 thousand patients have been treated in 61 fairs organized so far. Poor families have benefited the most from this. These health fairs are held on Sundays, so that the general public can visit the APS on public holidays and have their health checked. Out of the 61 Arogya Melas held so far, 1.74 lakh critically ill patients were referred to higher health facilities.
65 medical schools are in operation
Under the one district medical college policy, efforts are being made to establish government medical colleges with modern specialized medical facilities in each district. A total of 65 medical colleges are being run in the state so far. At the same time, 22 medical schools are being built. AIIMS is operating in Gorakhpur and Rae Bareli.
6.51 crore got Ayushman card
23rd September will mark 4 years of Ayushman Yojana. In these four years, 6.51 crore people have been linked to the Ayushman card scheme in the state. With this, the beneficiary gets an insurance cover of Rs.
Top in covid management
Apart from WHO and NITI Aayog, Uttar Pradesh crown management has been appreciated by representatives of countries like Australia-Canada. UP presented a crown management model in front of the whole country. Today Uttar Pradesh ranks first in the country in terms of COVID testing and vaccinations. So far 38.11 million free Kovid vaccinations have been given in the state. To date, 100% of the first dose and 99.9% of the second dose have been given to all adult citizens. Precautionary doses have also been administered to 3.61 million adults. In adolescent girls aged 15 to 17, the first dose was 100% and the second dose was 93.9%. Similarly, the coverage of the first dose is 100 percent and the second dose is 91.2 percent in children aged 12 to 14 years.
Improvement in maternal and child mortality
In the last five and a half years in the state, about 84% of children have been born under the supervision of qualified health workers. In the case of infant mortality, a decline of more than 18 percent has been recorded. Earlier, about 67% of institutional deliveries were made in Uttar Pradesh, which has registered an increase of 17%. Before the Yogi government, the infant mortality rate in the state was 78.1%, which has now come down to 59.8%. The number of women affected by anemia in Uttar Pradesh has come down by 5.1 percent. There has been a 7.4 percent decline in cases of normal weight children in the state, which is more than 3.7 percent nationally. 69.67 percent of children between 12 and 23 months have been fully vaccinated. The state’s sex ratio has also improved. There used to be 995 women for every 1,000 men, but now there are 1,017 women for every 1,000 men.
Purvanchal freed from encephalitis
As a result of communicable disease control and Dastak campaign against AES-JE virus in the state, Purvanchal region has been freed from the ravages of encephalitis. Control of 95 percent of deaths from this disease has now been achieved. In the 40 years from 1977 to 2017, 50,000 children died of encephalitis. From 2017, it was gradually controlled.
Free dialysis facility in all district hospitals
The Government of Uttar Pradesh provides free dialysis facilities in all district hospitals. This facility has been made available in 55 hospitals in about 54 districts.
Ambulance 24 hours
The state government operates the 24/7 ambulance service. A total of 2,270 ambulances are currently providing services.
